The Kelowna ComiCon Lip Sync Battle is your chance to channel your inner rockstar, hero, or villain as you perform epic lip-sync performances in front of a lively audience! Whether you’re belting out a power ballad, recreating an iconic musical scene, or bringing the ultimate meme energy to the stage, this is your moment to shine.

With a mix of killer performances, wild costumes, and pure entertainment, this battle is one of the most exciting events at Kelowna ComiCon. Think you have what it takes to win over the crowd and judges? Sign up, suit up, and sync your way to glory!

What do you do for a lip-sync battle you ask?

• Dress up in your fanciest clothes, cosplay, or just your favorite outfit, you choose!

• Choose your favorite song! Preferably one you can lip-sync too. Song MUST NOT contain swear words and MUST be pg-13 as this is an all ages show.

• Perform on our stage at KCC against other people or groups for your chance to win the grand prize!

Lip-Sync applications will be closed June 20th to give us time to make sure all performers get time to showcase! With all applications we will also need:

​

• The name of the song you will be lip-syncing to

• A 2 minute sound bite that you would like us to play while you're on stage. (This will also be the time limit for performances)

• The name you or the group would like to use on stage

​

Due to time restrictions and other concerns not all applicants may be accepted. Please make sure to apply in a timely manner so your entry can be reviewed. Again the deadline for entry is June 20th, 2024.

 

Costume, Weapons & Props Rules

 

Due to the fact it is a family-friendly event and we want to be safe there will be restrictions for the battle Note in particular that metal blades (sharp or blunt), working projectile weapons, and wooden or metal bats & paddles are all forbidden, as well as any outfits deemed unfit for a family-friendly environment( ie: nudity, exposed costume or prosthetic genitalia.
