About Hyoken Seisou

Hyoken Seisou, aka Izy, is a multi-award winning Canadian costume maker and artist based out of Calgary, AB. She has been attending conventions since 2006 and specializes in non-humanoid characters such as Stitch from Lilo and Stitch, Toothless from How to Train Your Dragon, and Tigress from Kung Fu Panda.

She enjoys making the bigger, elaborate, non-human shaped costumes because of the challenges they presents her with as well as she really loves focussing on the craftsmanship of each costume.

Aside from costume making and drawing/painting, she also enjoys playing various competitive sports, video games, gardening, riding her motorcycle, and taking care of her many many exotic pets.
