"Hi! I'm Mary, a Filipina-Canadian cosplayer from Vancouver. Outside of cosplay, I work in film and video games as a 3D Lighting Artist on projects like HBO's The Last of Us, Dune 2 and Gears of War: E-Day! Having studied fine arts prior to VFX school, I am experienced in photography, photo editing and 3D rendering. I try to apply all these skills into my favorite hobby - cosplay! Most of my photos are self portrait photos edited by me in Photoshop and 3D software to really transport my cosplay into the world of the character. Though I usually do most of this in the comfort of my home, the past two years I have been opening up to cosplayer and photographer collaborations, as well as attending conventions.
