About Wei
Wei’s goal is to showcase enthusiasm and authenticity throughout her cosplay journey, being a role model for new cosplayers by encouraging them to experiment with new techniques, explore different character types, and connect with others in the cosplay community. Wei’s love for photoshoots shines in her final project results, but it is her dedication to trackers, timers, and analytics that shine in her creative process. She is also a fan of closet cosplays and thrifted cosplays because cosplaying shouldn’t break the bank. On top of being a wig stylist, sewist, prop maker, makeup enthusiast, and model, Wei is a fangirl above all else. Her favorite series include Hell’s Paradise, Fullmetal Alchemist, Death Note, Hunter x Hunter, Attack on Titan, and Dr. Stone.
Wei uses a “vlogtorial” style of content that blends casual, transparent vlogging with educational tutorials, a unique approach that allows her to share both the creative/technical process and the challenges that come along. Whether online or in person, you can appreciate her meticulous attention to detail and vibrant positive energy! She has worked with brands like Epic
Cosplay Wigs, CosFun, Fabricana, Pinky Paradise, and Lumin’s Workshop. At the end of the day, Wei advocates for cosplayers to take their time, to simply have fun crafting, and to prioritize self-care and wellness over the pressure to create a final product.
